About Anthea Poppmeier

Anthea is a Registered Dietitian and nutrition writer originally from Cape Town, South Africa. When she is not exploring Europe she is based in Germany with her husband and Jack Russel, Frankie.

Anthea believes that being healthy should be about eating delicious food in its most natural state and enjoys empowering people with practical nutritional knowledge.

Whilst she has experience in many different disease conditions and dietary issues she is most passionate about women’s hormonal health, sports nutrition and metabolic disorders.
