Ingredients You’ll Need:
As with any recipe, make sure you go with organic options when possible:
- 10 Ounces of Dates – Pitted
- Coconut Oil – 1 Tablespoon
- Ground Cinnamon – ¼ Teaspoon
- Desiccated Coconut – 1 Tablespoon
- Chopped Almonds – 2 Ounces
First, take the pitted dates and put them all into a food processor. Add in the coconut oil, cinnamon and the desiccated coconut in along with it, and pulse for about a minute and a half. When done, it should be thoroughly mixed and chopped.
Next, transfer the contents of the food processor into a bowl and add in the chopped almonds. Knead it with your hands into a dough.
Take pieces of the mixture that are about a tablespoon or two into your hand and roll them into a ball. Once shaped, gently roll them in the ground almonds until coated. Place them on a plate or container. Repeat the process until all the dough is used.
That’s it. You can toss them in the refrigerator to keep them fresh so you’ll have access to a delicious snack anytime you feel a craving coming on!
